Michael
O is no ordinary harpist. Blending his “Kansas
City Jazz” background with fifteen years musical experience in the
Caribbean, Michael O plays rhythms you wouldn't believe possible on the
harp, such as calypso, samba, bossa nova, and salsa. He even plays rock
and pop, such as the Stones, Led Zeppelin, Elton John, Beatles, Billy Joel,
Whitney Houston, and more. Add this to his ability to play any tune that
you can hum, and his repertoire becomes endless. But he's more than just a great harpist - he actually plays the harp and piano at the same time! With his dramatic black harp resting on his right shoulder, his left hand easily plays on a baby grand piano. He is one of the only people in the world to play both of these instruments at the same time. This dramatic performance is truly one-of a-kind.
